My daughter’s dog, a female Samoyd of about 6-8 years, has very shallow breathing pretty much all the time. Hasn’t attended a vet due to financial restrictions. I fear her heart or lungs are having to struggle but would much appreciate your help and or advice.
Hi Jackie,
It is very important that your daughter takes the dog to the vets immediately. We are not able to diagnose and from the symptoms you are describing the dog needs urgent attention. It could be a number of things causing the breathlessness and this needs to be seen to, to avoid any prolonged suffering by the pet. There are a number of charitable organisations such as the RSPCA, PDSA or equivalent who she can take the pet to. You cannot let the pet suffer due to financial restraints. Please come back to us once you have a diagnosis and we can advise further.
Best of health

My 10 year old west highland white terrier has pulmonary fibrosis. I give him silver several times a day but was looking into giving him serrspeptese can you let me know what I can do naturally to help him have a good guality of life for as long as possible. He does have some allergy issues. So I feed him whole prey duck and Bartlett pears. Thank you.
Hi Linda, yes you can give serrapeptase to your dog. See Serrapept at Good Health Naturally, and take as recommended for his size. Plus add in a good probiotic with his food to help support immunity.
