Is serrapeptase safe 10 months post op back surgery. Had microdisectomy successfully. The main healing portion of microdisectomy is to cut away portion of disc and you can’t bend for 6 weeks so the scar tissue can form around disc. Seeing how serrapeptase eats away scar tissue….is it safe to take once the scar tissue has formed.

Hi Kathleen, the way Serrapeptase works is to only dissolve dead scar tissue, not live tissue or newly forming tissue. So it doesn’t affect the newly formed tissue that is in place as part of the healing process.
I hope that helps

Can serrapeptase dissolve gortex ligaments in the body?

Hi Kathy, serrapeptase does not dissolve any synthetic materials implanted in the body, such as gortex ligaments. It only works on dead or unwanted human or animal tissue.
I hope that helps
