Q: I have uterine fibroids. What can I take to make the shrink? How should this be treated?

-Diane

A: Diane,

This plan should clear your fibroids but the low glucose diet is just as important as the supplements.

Plan A
Yes fibroids can shrink but it is not just a case of popping the pills and everything is fine. It is a program of lifestyle and supplements to get really healthy that I have detailed below.

The full supplement plan is as follows:

  • BlockBusterAllclear (serrapeptase/nattokinase formula) 3 x 3 times per day, 30mins before eating with water
  • Curcuminx4000 1 x 3 times per day with the blockbuster
  • NatraGest Progesterone Cream take as per instructions attached
  • Nascent Iodine helps balance hormones take 3 drops x 3 times per day
  • Active Life 2 x 15ml per day with food

Lifestyle
Sugar and glucose will upset your hormones which are feeding the fibroids. This is sometimes referred to as the hunter/gather diet as it does not have any processed food. I am developing a new web site http://www.reallyhealthyfoods.com/ where we post menus, meal ideas and food lists from the list below. It will be updated over the coming weeks and so keep checking it for changes. If it is confusing, then eat avocados, organic eggs, salads and the veggie soup until you work out your really healthy food menu.

My recovery food plan (and anti-aging) and to maintain ‘perfect Health’ (pH).

  • Eating a mainly alkaline diet (high pH) is the other critical thing to do (see attached shopping ideas).
  • STOP all starchy carbohydrates (breads, pastry, cookies, breakfast cereals, white rice, potatoes, and pasta), processed foods and milk products.
  • Stick to only Quinoa, brown rice or the other starchy carb alternatives shown at http://www.reallyhealthyfoods.com/
  • Eat some of the following foods every 2 hours:
    • Eat up to 10-14 small portions (about the size of your fist) of fresh or frozen veggies daily (in soups, juiced, stir-fried, steamed etc) 50% raw juiced (use the pulp in soups) (Organic if possible).
    • Eat 3-5 portions of beans, nuts and seeds (soaked and mashed for the nuts and seeds)
    • Eat 3-5 portions dark skinned fruits, (blueberries, cherries, red grapes (especially the minimum of 2 avocados daily) etc).
    • Hemp, or Krill Oil and other healthy oils such as olive oil etc
    • Drink 6-8 glasses of distilled or filtered water per day with a pinch of bicarbonate of soda.
    • Take 3 x 1/2 teaspoons of Sea or Rock salt daily in food or a little water.

Plan B
Just so you know there is a well proven alternative to surgery but fibroids can grow back unless you integrate a large part of Plan A into your life. Here is a link to a centre where you can see this procedure http://www.fibroidworld.com/UAE.htm
Do a search using the term uterine artery embolisation for fibroids for your nearest centre: DO NOT HAVE SURGERY UNTIL YOU HAVE CHECKED THIS OUT!

Q: You mentioned that sugar feeds the fibroids. There was no mention of meat/chicken. I always thought that meat and chicken increased the estrogen.
Any thoughts on that?

– Diane

A: No, it is sugar that upsets hormones but some intensive farmed meat may have illegal hormones to make them grow faster and that is what you may have heard.

Q: Is this product good for exophytic fibroids and vascular calcifications of the spine?

-Bernadette H., United States

A: Yes when it is combined with other things. Check out the full plan which will also help your spine is – Osteoporosis and Osteopenia Health Activity Plan and Osteoporosis and Osteopenia Health Plan

Q: Can anyone help me with my query below? I’m a Nutritional Therapist and have a patient who would like to take SerraEnzyme for Fibroids. I use a functional medicine approach, we are at the beginning of therapy and I am working on the digestive system. I’m using Nutri Permeability Factor supplement to help heal the intestinal lining. I’ve recommended this be taken 3 times a day away from food. It contains L-Glutamine, L-Methionine and N-Acetyl-D-Glucosamine (with GLA, Gamma Oryzanol and Vit E). As the Serrapeptase also has to be taken away from food I would like to know if these can be taken at the same time or will the SerraEnzyme have some effect on the amino acids and Glucosamine?

-Sally H., United Kingdom

A: Sally, Yes it is better to take serrapeptase away from the amino acids.

Q: I just started taking Serrapeptase two days ago for fibroids. I am using the Doctor’s best brand. Do you know if it will help with that? I am also suffering from extreme exhaustion due to working 7 days per week. My body feels weak all of the time. Can you help?

Crysande H., Trinidad & Tobago

A: Crysande, I am sending the full fibroid plan: Uterine Fibroids Health Plan.

Q: I have a cyst on my right wrist, two uterine fibroids, a bone lesion, some type of growth in my right breast, and I wake up in the morning with pain throughout my legs, possibly some type of inflammation. I have been taking Blockbuster Allclear for a month because it was advertised as being the strongest (even though after I purchased them I realized that they do not have as much Serrapeptase as some of your other products). I am taking four to six a day and have not seen any results. The cyst on my wrist looks the same and my legs still hurt every morning (I was able in the past to get rid of my cyst with a Serrapeptase brand I purchased from hacres.com) I am really disappointed with the product, what do you suggest?

-Susan P., United States

A: Susan,

I have never heard of anyone, even with very high doses of Serrapeptase, clearing a cyst in 4 weeks? Reducing it yes, but not clearing it. The BlockBuster is the best for all of your problems but even that will not clear them all without addressing the cause (nutritional deficiency and processed foods in the diet).

The formulation at Hacres only has 10,000iu of serrapeptase as the rest is a simple protease to make up the 40,000iu stated. I am not saying it is not effective but when compared to my SerraEnzyme of 80,000iu pure serrapeptase with no proteases you can see you have a larger choice.

I suggest the following:
SerraPlus+ – 1 x 3 times per day
Nascent Iodine Drops – 3 drops x 3 times per day

Q: I underwent an emergency C-section last November following a mismanaged labour. Although I have a disfiguring external keloid scar at the bikini line, my main concern is the internal uterine scar and any adhesions that may result from having undergone major abdominal surgery. I am aware of the consequences of uterine scarring, including infertility, increased risk of miscarriage, placental complications, and uterine rupture during subsequent labours. The ideal product for me would completely eradicate any internal scar and adhesions, so that I could feel safe attempting a normal delivery if I am fortunate enough to get pregnant again.

Could you please advise on the suitability of serrapeptase, recommended dose, and length of treatment? Is there any advantage to taking a combined preparation such as Exclzym or Vitalzym? I am still breastfeeding but note the safety of serrapeptase during lactation from your articles.

Very grateful for your help.

Rowena D., United Kingdom

A: Rowena,

I have had good success with SerraPlus+ which has 4x more serrapeptase compared to the two formulations you have mentioned. Take 1 SerraPlus+ 30mins before eating a meal, with a glass of water. Plan on taking for at least 2-3 months.
