Q: Had an ultrasound this week – 0ur dog has either a large lung abscess, cyst or even cancer, he also has kidney inflammation. He’s 90 lbs. I want try Serrapeptase – how much can I give him? I need this to start working immediately.
A: This may seem a lot to do but it is designed to completely restore your dog (or you) to good health. Follow the Health Plan as recommended.
Q: My shih tzu has many large non-cancerous cysts on his body. Would taking serrapeptase make them disappear and how much should I give him? Does it take a very long time for them to disappear? He weighs 16 lbs. Â
-Marlene B., United States
A: Try SerraPet 80,000IU tablets and Nascent Iodine Drops. Try 1 x 2 times per day 10 mins before food and it should take a couple of months to see the results. How long it will finally take is not predictable.
Q: I’m giving Serrapeptase to my dog for arthritis – and it is helping. BUT he’s recently developed a problem with his urinary tract. He is having blood in his urine. Is it still safe to give Serrapeptase while this is happening or will this supplement cause more blood loss. Is it a blood thinner?Â
A:Â It is not a blood thinner. Serrapeptase should not cause this and in ten years I have not had anyone say this. This blood problem needs checking out by a vet.
Q: My 14 year old cat has asthma. Can SerraPet be taken with Prednisolone and Terbutaline or Theophylline (bronchodilators)?
-Cheryl F., United States
A: Yes it is not a problem with any drug. Try stopping all grains and cereals and any other starchy carbs. They are bad for people and our animals.
Q: I have a 15hh Arab Mare who has been suffering from a pollen allergy and had a runny nose this year. She has been treated by the vet and is on medication which is helping, however I was wondering if your product may help to? Also if I was to use your product what should I dose her on? She is roughly around 500kg.
-Kristina J., United Kingdom
A: Try SerraPet and HydroSol Silver. Spray the latter in water.
Q: My horse has a wheezing cough and mucus. I wondered what dose I would need to give. I feed her twice a day. Could I give before feeds? She is fine in the summer, she lives out and I steam her hay and wet her feed. Her weight is about 690kg.
-Helen, United Kingdom
A: Try SerraPet 80,000iu tablets 2 times per day and spray HydroSol Silver in the drinking water. Also try 2 caps of CurcuminX4000 3 times per day.
Q: We have a five-pound chihuahua that is 14 years old. She has some serious issues with her heart (enlarged, poor circulation). She also has small seizures three or four times a day where she loses her legs and collapses. She cries out when these happen and needs comforting to get through them. Fortunately, after a few minutes, she is ok and back up on her feet. Will Serrapeptase help her? What dosage should a small dog like this get? Thank you so much!
-Robert W., United Kingdom
A: Give her 1 tablet of SerraPet 80,000iu 2 times per day, 30 mins before eating a meal. Give it to her in her muzzle and then hold it closed and stroke her throat until she swallows. It would be good if you also give her daily Multivitamins/minerals that have Selenium in it.
Q: How many pills would you feed a 1100-pound horse? He suffers from COPD & I have found nothing to help relieve his symptoms. I am afraid I might have to put him down if I don’t find something that will help soon. Thank you.
-Kate G.
A: Your horse is really suffering from fungal problems that are probably caused by eating (or too much) grains and cereals. These are not a natural food for animals. These are mainly contaminated by various fungal forms and I presume the horse is stabled, which will add to it. Here are my recommendations for a 60 day recovery plan:
- SerraPet 80,000IU tablets 2 x 3 times per day (try with a mint or other non protein treat)
- CurcuminX4000 2 caps x 3 times per day (try mixing the contents of the capsule with a small amount of food)
- HydroSol Silver 3 teaspoons per day
- BetaFactor – Beta 1,3-D Glucan Immune System Booster 1 x 3 times per day (at the same time as the Serraenzyme)
Q: I have a 12 year old male cat, very overweight (27 lbs), who has an injury to his back and shoulder from a fall many years ago, also has upper respiratory, cough and wheezing and nasal discharge. We have spent a fortune on natural supplements for his conditions, and finally resorted to antibiotics for the cough. Nothing really helps him. Would serrapeptase be worth a try, and how much would I give him, and in what strength? -Sheila C., United States
A: Try SerraPet 80,000IU tablets 1 x 2 times per day; CurcuminX4000 1 x 2 times per day; and a couple of sprays of HydroSol Silver in the drinking water 2-3 times per day.
My 14 years old cat has a heart murmur and diabetes. Recent tests show that he’s becoming insulin resistant and has developed pancreatitis. What do you suggest, Serrapeptides? Anything else?
Thank you very much!
Chuck,
I suggest
CurcuminX4000 1 cap x 2 times per day opened and mixed with food
Prescript Assist 1 cap opened and mixed with food per day
There is more but try these first and come back to me at my help desk below.

My 11 year old westie has got westie lung disease .what dose of enzymes would you put her on?
Heather,
There are three things I recommend including serrapeptase for your dog:
SerraPet 1 tablet x 2 times per day 30 mins before feeding
CurcuminX4000 1 cap opened and and mixed with food x 2 times per day
BetaFactor 1 cap opened and and mixed with food x 2 times per day
A carb (grains and Cereals), and sugar free diet is essential.

Hi
My large 5yr old Staffordshire bull terrier (25-30kg male) has a bad knee joint in his back leg. The vet tells me he needs an operation?? (ÂŁ1500) He also gave me some pills which have made him worse all of a sudden. He’s now limping quite badly.
I was told about your supplements and they come highly recommended.
What would you recommend for him?
Thanks.
Hi Stephen
In order to help you dog I would suggest 8 tablets a day of the Serrapet for at least the first bottle, once he starts to see improvement then he can start dropping down to 6 a day and then 4 but to play it by ear, if he starts to get worse again then put the dosage up again by for a couple of weeks. I would also recommend looking at the food and try changing him to something that has no wheat in it and add a table spoon of coconut oil to his evening meal.
Hello,
My cat was diagnosed with chylothorax. The vets I’ve seen are pushing for a CT and most likely surgery with a 50/50 prognosis. She’s had every other test done (bloodwork, ecocardiogram, ultrasound, etc.) and all came back negative, except I think the liquid they took from a chest tap that led them to believe it was chyle, and therefore that she has idiopathic (so far) chylothorax. In any case, I’m hoping she recovers spontaneously, or with a more natural treatment, since I read there have been some cases of success there, before resorting to surgery. I’m treating her with Rutin, and about to start liquid dandelion, liquid goldenseal, and liquid mullein. I’d also heard that serrapeptase could be helpful in dealing with or putting off fibrosing pleuritis from the build-up of chyle in the chest cavity. I was wondering if you have any advice or insight, and if you agree that serrapeptase would be helpful, recommendations in terms of dosage and administering (e.g. I saw your youtube video specifying that it shouldn’t be given with protein – so, not with her food, which is all wet or raw food). Thank you so much in advance!
Hi Natalie,
I would recommend the Serrapet for you cat at the stated dosages on the product. Ideally give the Serrapet to the cat with a little non-protein food such as fruit puree. Lymphatic drainage techniques can also be useful for this condition.

Your Good Health Coaching Team
Also – re your feedback that serrapeptase should not be given to a cat along with animal protein: I have to keep my cat on a low-fat diet; with that in mind, are there any particular foods that would ease the administering of the pill? She is pretty stubbon and nothing has worked short of pushing the pill manually down to the back of her throat. I am going to try pill pockets for her other pill but am pretty sure they contain protein. Also, at what point is it ok for the cat to have protein – is there a span of time before/after giving serrapeptase so that it won’t nullify the effect?
Thanks again!
Hi Natalie,
Ideally, yes, any non-protein food that you cat enjoys will be fine to help administer the serrapeptase. Do they like any puree of some kind that you can use to disguise the tablet?
Allow around 30 minutes for the serrapeptase to digest before their next meal.

Would your Serrapet have helped my 1 1/2 yr old cat that developed FIP disease, curious to know ,he is already gone but to know for next time.
Hi Carol,
I’m sorry to hear about the passing of your cat. Serrapeptase may be able to help with some of the general symptoms of the infection such as inflammation, swelling and fluid accumulation. It isn’t going to ‘remedy’ it though, and more specific immune boosters would be recommended.
Best wishes

My 14 year old Westie has been in great health all his life and was recently diagnosed with IPF (Pulmonary Fibrosis). He is reacting with side effects to all the meds I have tried. Would Serrapeptase help with his condition? If so, what dosage would I use? I have capsules with 40,000 SU at home and I am wondering if i can use those. Thank you!
Hi Anna, yes Serrapeptase is a good choice for IPF, to help with the inflammation and scarring on the lungs. I would advise the Serrapet for your Westie from http://www.goodhealthnaturally.com, and take as directed.

My 11 yr old (33lb) Beagle has developed a neck/disk problem. Currently he is on pain killers and Deramax (25 mg) for inflamation. These meds have put him off his food and he seems very lethargic. Will Serrapeptase help? What dosage?
thank you,
Carolyn
Hi Carolyn, we would recommend the Serrapet for you beagle to help with his neck/disk problem. For a medium sized dog you can give him 3-4 tablets per day.
Your Good Health Coaching Team
I have adopted an old Greyhound (around 30 kg) and recently his arthritis seems to be acting up. My friend has the Serratio tablet but the packaging is in milligram (Denzo 5 mg). How much can I give to my dog? Thank you.
Aby
Hi Aby, we can advise on the Serrapet, as this is our product available from http://www.goodhealthnaturally.com. Take as directed on the bottle for your dogs size.
We do not measure serrapeptase in MG, but IU, which is the industry recognized unit of measurement for enzymatic activity, which we are interested in here, so cannot advise the equivalent in MG.
I hope that helps

Hello, my 15 year old cat has been struggling with asthma for about a year, and I am getting increasingly concerned about the side effects of the steroids she is taking. Her asthma is very triggered by stress, so I am looking for a relatively low stress way to administer serrapeptase. Can it be given with coconut oil? She loves coconut oil, but didn’t know if taking with fats was ok? If not coconut oil, could I use carrot or sweet potato purĂ©e? Thanks so much for your help.
Hi Megan, yes you can give the serrapeptase to your cat with a small amount of their favorite food, preferably a non-protein food. This is much more preferable than causing them any undue stress, and you have highlighted. They will still get the benefit from the enzyme this way. I hope that helps.
Your Good Health Coaching Team
Thanks, Lindsay. Just want to clarify though, with coconut oil being all fat, the enzyme will not process the fat correct? Thank you so much! Just wanted to make double sure that I am administering correctly!
Hi Megan, yes to clarify you are fine to give the Serrapeptase with the coconut oil. As a proteolytic enzyme, serrapetase works on proteins, not fat, so will not be hindered by the coconut oil.
I hope that helps
Yes, it does. Thank you so much for the clarification. 🙂
I have two dogs…a mixed 10 lb. male who has been diagnosed with glaucoma and a mixed 10 lb. female with a heart murmur. They both have arthritis. Will this product help them?
Hi Nancy, we would certainly recommend the Serrapet for your dogs from what you have described, please take as directed for their size.
I have a 20 year old non pregnant mare That has has hardening and swelling of the mammary glands for the last year. She has Cushing disease. She was languishing on pergolide so have switched her to herbs. Vitex gold and heiro for insulin resistance. She is brighter and will eat a little feed but refuses much of the feed. Will eat grass and hay but it has to be limited due to too much sugar and the possibility of founder. I am sure the mammaries are tender. Have started massaging them daily with castor oil. Please advise the dosage of serrapeptase and other items and where to purchase them. She has been tested for infection and cancer and neither exists. Has had several rounds of antibiotics to try to solve the mammary issue. I believe it must be fibroids. Numerous vets and equine clinics have been asked but all vets have given up. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Am currently looking for organic horse feed and and will make sure no roundup is used around my fences. Thank you.
Hi V, we would recommend going in hard at first with the Serrapet, say 9-12 a day for a month then drop to 8 a day and stay on that till you see a significant improvement, just throw them in to the feed or give a handful of chaff.
My senior cat is in the early stages of chronic kidney disease. Would your serrapeptase be a safe and helpful supplement for her?
Hi Michele, yes serrapeptase is safe for both humans and animals.
We recommend for her, Serrapet 1-2 tablets per day

My 11 year old dog is diagnosed with stage 4 kidney failure recently. He has not been eating and drinking. After the 2nd blood test and IV fluids, the results showed higher BUN and CREA which means the kidney is not working to expel the toxins. He is back home as he was really homesick. I do not know how to help my baby. He is always tired and sleep most of the time and his urine is clear and little. Can serrapeptase help at this stage?
Hi Elsie, serrapeptase can be used at any stage, so it is worth a try to help tackle the underlying inflammation. Take Serrapet as directed for his size.
My greyhound Olive has had a stroke (lesions on the brain). Intially, her back legs went (2 days), one side of her face sagged, and her eye looked a bit pinched. Dhe just lay on a bed exhausted for the first couple of weeks. My vet advised me it was probably a blood clot that caused it.
This happened 8 months ago. I started giving her ginkgo biloba as it strengthens the walls of the capillaries and increase blood flow and her energy levels. Then I came across serrapeptase that apparently reduces inflammationa nd plaque in the blood. She also has bad teeth that she can’t have out due to the risk of her having another bleed under anesthetic. I understand that this is quite complex. But, I would appreciate any advice. Her weight fluctuates between 27kg and 30kg. Thank you
Hi Leza, serrapeptase is a safe choice for both humans and animals, regardless of the complexity of the situation. It does also not increase the risk of bleeding, reduces inflammation and aids in the body’s healing processes. We would recommend trying the Serrapet, as directed for her size. Plus add a good probiotic, such as Probiotic 14, to her meals to support immunity.
Your Good Health Coaching Team
Thank you, will try. Just out of interest how does the Probiotic 14 help her? Cheers, Leza.
Good bacteria are crucial for the health of your dog’s gut. But they also support her brain, digestion, assimilation of nutrients and – best of all – her immune system.
thank you Lindsay
Hi
My 13y old 20lbs dog is diagnosed with IBD (eosinophilic and plasmacytic). How to administer serrapeptasse? Dosage? With food or without?
Thank you
Hi Layla, ideally give 30 minutes before a main meal. If they cannot take the tablet without food, then give with a little non-protein food or treat. The tablets can be crushed if needed or open the capsules up and sprinkle on the food.
For a medium to large dog, give 3-4 per day of Serrapet or SerraEnzyme 80,000iu

I have a 15 yr old cat with long term asthma, and partially collapsed lung, tight wheezing and congestion. I suspect that the mucous in her lungs is old and dried and has caused lung damage. No natural treatment has helped her without danger of her having a life threatening asthma attack. Some herbs, Vit C etc loosen the mucous and bring it up, but then she starts to cough and wheeze more, and then goes into full asthma attack. So, I feel paralyzed not knowing what to do next. My question is this, does the serrapeptase bring up a lot of mucous in asthmatics? Or does it “eat” or dissolve mucous, clearing the lungs so that coughing is not necessary? I hope you understand my question. She suffocates on the mucous that is being brought up and expectorated by herbs, etc.so I am afraid to try anymore natural remedies. I do not want to continue with steroids, They are harming her a lot.
Hi Beth, serrapeptase can help to ‘thin’ the mucus making it generally easier to expel, which is likely to be much better for your cat. Start off with 1 x SerraPet 80,000iu.
I hope that helps
Your Good Health Coaching Team
hi beth, i m very curious how it goes with your cat. my dog maffy has also problem with coughing and mucous…
I would like to try our Westie on Serrapeptase – I take it myself. However, if as recommended it is given 30mins before food, how do I give it to her? Can I open a capsule and mix it in her yoghurt or is that classed as food?
Hi Sylvia, ideally give 30 minutes before a main meal. If they cannot take the tablet without food, then give with a little non-protein food or treat. The tablets can be crushed if needed or open the capsules up and sprinkle on the food. A small amount of yoghurt is fine if that works for your pet, if there isn’t any non-protein food as an alternative.

Hi,
Can the Nascent Iodine GHN be given to my 17 pound Dachshund? We had extensive blood tests run just to make sure he’s healthy and to try to find the underlying cause of his chronic bronchitis / cough. His levels were all good except his thyroid was .5 and the vet said normal is between 1 and 5. His TSH is normal though. She wants me to put him on a thyroid replacement. But I was interested in healing his thyroid naturally. She also said that getting his thyroid number in the normal range will keep him from getting reoccurring infections related to the bronchitis.
Thank you for your help!
Hi Goldie, add 3 drops of the Nascent Iodine and a small dose of the Ionic Selenium to your dogs drinking water.
I hope that helps

Hi, I have a 37 pd Beagle/Jack Russell mix that has just been diagnosed with a tumor in his nasal cavity that is pressing on his brain. Do you think Serrapeptase can help him? Have you ever heard of Serrapeptase helping an animal or person with cancer recover?
Hello Elizabeth, we do recommend serrapeptase as part of our cancer rehabilitation protocol, to work on inflammation and to help shrink tumour size wherever possible. You can also use curcumin, by opening up one of the capsules of the Curcuminx4000 and adding it to their food. A good probiotic such as Probiotic 14 is recommended to support their overall immunity.
I hope that helps

Hi,
I am a 5 year old male kitty, generally happy and in good health….but he has Kidney stge 2, issues with his sinusis (itchy, weezy), and a mild-moderate bronchial asthma. He rarely coughs or has an asthma attack, but I can hear the breathing is a bit challenged and it’s phlegmy in there…..and the vet says it’s still there. He’s not on meds. He tends to panic when things are off (coughing, getting a poo stuck etc…so I really want to eliminate this asthma)
We are currently on a great probiotic, Kangen water (part time), adding coconut oil, renal supps
Will the Serra help with the asthma and sinusis? What will it do specifically? Can it cure? or best to use with other lung herbs (thinking of Lung Gold by Pet Wellbeing) Thank you!!
Hello Kriya, yes we would recommend the serrapeptase for your kitty, which you can use alongside other supporting products of your choice. We advise the SerraPet 1-2 tablets per day.

hello, i would like to try serrapeptaze for my dog who has serious health issues…coughing with mucous sound more than year, arthrosis, joint issue, mamary tumor, cushings, gall blader mucocele /is on ursodiol and it helps/….i m fighting in my head between “keep fighting” and “put her down”:( i would love to try serra….she is on wobenzym actually /1tbl 2x a day…can serra be given together with wobenzmye? how much should i give to maffy /6kg/? can i start at 2 tablets /80000+80000=160000/ for begining and then lower it to just one a day? is there any food i can give it with ? what is a diference between enteric coated tablets and capsules? will both start work in small intestine? thank you for advice
Hello Diana, yes you can start your dog on the SerraPet or equivalent SerraEnzyme 80,000iu. For a small dog we recommend 1-2 tablets per day or medium dog 3-4 per day. So you are fine to start on the 2 per day and review how she gets on. Ideally give away from protein foods, but if this is not possible give with a little of her favourite food. The tablets and capsules will both start to work in the small intestines.
I hope that helps her.

Hello-
I have a 7yr old 185lb English Mastiff. He’s had a heart murmur since he was a puppy. He’s also developed some type of white fat deposits in his eyes over the last couple years that has slowly gotten worse partially blocking his vision(not cataracts) vet says they’re lipids. Both vet and opthamologist are not exactly sure what it is or what’s causing it. He also has some arthritis and weak hind legs, he’ll sometimes “knuckle” or fold- over his back paws when walking. They recently discovered he has a thyroid deficiency problem. They have him on Thyro-tab daily which has seemed to help his walking and his fur grew in a lot thicker. No grains for the past couple years along with raw diet. Also giving him 1350mg tumeric per day with food. Any help would be greatly appreciated for his eye lipids, arthritis, and heart murmur. Thank you
Hello Biff, we would suggest adding in the SerraPet or equivalent SerraEnzyme 80,000iu to help in his situation. For a large dog, take around 4 tablets per day.

She’s got eye tumor in her right eye. Can serrapeptase help her.
Currently she’s on astaxanthin, resveratrol, probiotics and tumeric.
Can u pls advise.
Hello Sharon, we would certainly suggest adding serrapeptase to your protocol here to help with the tumour. We suggest around 3 per day of the Serrapet or equivalent in the SerraEnzyme 80,000iu.
I hope that helps

Hi Robert
I have a paralysed Cat (5 months since accident) with a broken back. It is a fracture of the Lumbar region (now healed, callus formed) that made her lose complete sensation in hind region.
Both back legs and tail is limp and hind paws curled inward. Muscles have atrophied and the hock and stifle joints are always hyperextended. She was found in this state when rescued and vets say nothing can be done now.
She is on Gabapentin for pain relief as her lower back is very sensitive to touch and vet said she experiences pain there though there is no deep pain sensation in the hind limbs or tail.
Loss of anal muscle tone and she is always leaking. Incontinent.
Otherwise healthy, has a good appetite and zest for life.
Anything that we can help manage her condition better naturally?
Hi Sib, we would always consider what’s best for the cat under these circumstances, so please keep checking with the vet on her quality of life.
In the meantime, we would suggest to add in the Serrapet, 2 tablets per day, but keep reviewing her situation on a regular basis.

Hello my cat with an enlarged heart and thick heart walls…the cat is on vetmedin, benazapril and furosemide. Will serrapeptase help and not interfere with the prescriptions? Also what would be the recommended dosage? Thanks in advance.
Hi Neetu, there is no issue with your cat taking serrapeptase as it will not interfere with her medication. Give her 1-2 per day of the SerraPet or equivalent SerraEnzyme 80,000iu.

Hello, My 11 years 14lb cat has a sarcoma tumor in the neck, about 1cm large.
I have 80000 serrapeptase pills, do you think it can reverse the tumor? How much should I give her? She has also stage 2 chronic kidney desease.
Thank you for your help
Jocia
Hi Jocia, it’s difficult to predict results or guarantee any reversal at this stage. We would certainly recommend giving the serrapeptase to your cat in this situation at a dose of around 2 per day. Some people are also giving curcumin to their pets in these situations, but check with your vet first about appropriate supplementation.

Can you please tell me if Serrapeptase will help my 3 lb toy chihuahua with a collapsed trachea? He also has asthma problems. He is on Prednisone for the collapsed trachea but I’ve heard that it is not a safe drug for pets and I would like him to be on a much safer remedy. It breaks my heart to see him suffering so much. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you. Heidi P.
Hello Heidi, serrapeptase is a good choice for your chihuahua to help with the inflammation and swelling associated with the condition. However, for more structural support you may need to consult with a vet on a suitable collagen product, for example. Consider some Omegas as well to help with inflammation, plus a probiotic to help with digestion and overall wellbeing.
I hope that helps

My 10 yr old Cavalier King Charles spaniel, is limping badly and does not want to put weight on his hind leg. My vet has done x-rays, blood tests, joint taps, prescribed 2 kinds of anti-inflammatories, 2 kinds of pain killers, prednisone. Nothing has been diagnosed, no results have come about as a result of all of this. This has been going on now for 6 months.
He gets Dasuquin and fish oil, daily (no noticeable positive effects). Would SerraPet, help? It’s been recommended by people in a Cavalier health support group.
Hello Trixie, we would certainly expect it to be of some help to your spaniel in this situation, as it works on the inflammation and pain. We would suggest starting with around 2-3 per day of the SerraPet and keep reviewing to get the right dose for him.

Directions say to feed on an empty stomach. What would the wait time be after taking and before feeding food?
Try to allow at least 30 minutes from the main meal, but some people do give with a small amount of food to help administer to their pets.
135# Male Rottweiler in Stage 1 Heartworm Disease. Will begin injections to kill adult Heartworms Shortly.
Serrapeptase use during heartworm treatment? It ‘seems like the perfect add on when the lungs and liver have to break down dead worms… why do we not hear this addressed anywhere??
You would need to have the recommended injections to kill the heartworms. The Serrapeptase enzyme can dissolve any inflammation in the body, so is helpful in the recovery process. The Serrapeptase enzyme originally came from the silk worm but has been isolated and is now grown on a fungus base. There is no fungus in the finished product, it is just where it is grown. It is still the same enzyme as the silk worm use.
Hi, We have a 22 month old, 29 pound, male miniature schnauzer that is constantly scratching at his ears and licking his paws. Blood tests revealed several allergies: alfalfa, barley, corn, rise, soybean, sweet potato, wheat, brown rice, flax. We changed his food to avoid his allergies and that hasn’t helped. His Vet gave him Atopica 50mg, but it is not stopping the scratching and licking. Will Serrapeptase help and how much for 29 pounds? Thanks!
HI Jan, you can give the serrapeptase to your dog to help manage the symptoms, alongside a good probiotic supplement to support the immune system. Use the Serrapet and take as directed for his size.

I have a 3 year old cat diagnosed with idiopathic chylothorax, the vet has performed surgery removing the heart sack and tying off one duct. Since surgery I have had my cat on 1500mg rutin and my baby has been through 3 more taps, the last tap yesterday. The vet said pockets have formed due to scar tissue, making it difficult to drain all fluid. I have purchased mullein and dandelion liquid. Are these 2 liquids advisable? Should I add Serrepeptase to assist with the scar tissue? If yes, how much for a 15 pound cat, how many times a day?
Hello Isabella, you can give your cat the SerraPet or SerraEnzyme 250,000iu 1/2 a tablet per day to help with the scar tissue.

Hi,
Adopted a 10 month old cat who is about 6 pds. He had an upper respiratory infection. The first round of antibiotics cleared the infection, there is no sinus draining, sneezing or coughing and he’s very playful. The thing is the sinus congestion when he inhales doesn’t seem to get better. Steam helps a bit but not for long, same with infant saline drops.
He is on the third round of antibiotics and this time not only got an antibiotic shot but a prescription to take as well. Not seeing it take away the congestion. I’ve taken 40,000 iu capsules of Serrapeptase and have tons of it. It’s been amazing for me!
Can I give him this as well? I’d like to try it as the next step is thousands of dollars to exray and scope his nasal passages. I’m trying not to be anxious about that but not really succeeding! Just want him to be able to breathe normal and have a good kitty life. He doesn’t mouth breathe and his gums are pink which is good, but he’s pretty noisy. Thanks for any advice!!!
Hello Rob, we would certainly recommend serrapeptase for your cat, as it is really successful in clearing nasal congestion in both humans and animals. Aim for a level between 80,000iu and 160,000iu of serrapeptase for your cat, which can be split over the day. Add in a probiotic supplement as well to help support the immune system, especially following the repeated courses of antibiotics.
I hope that helps

Can i coat a serrapeptase capsule in butter, or honey, or ?? to help my dog swallow it, can’t get it down otherwise.
I’ve read it can be given with a non protein food and that’s all I can think of. Is that true though?
She really can be helped by this I think.
Thank you!
Hi Robin, yes you can do either to help administer to your dog.
