The proteolytic enzyme, serrapeptase, is taken to ease inflammation. This particular protease is used as it effectively dissolves dead and swollen tissue.
I first published information to the internet in 2000, after a San Diego pioneer first educated me on its properties. I researched 23 studies on this compound, and started to prescribe it to clients who were exhibiting comparable symptoms. Dosages were in the order of 10,000IU for patients who were taking part in the early studies, but varying mega dosages were administered to other clients. Intake was progressively increased, and I soon found out that the studies were correct, as it was working as well as what was indicated, with superior results at higher doses. I am now 67 and have been taking as much as 240,000IU for the last 13 years on a daily basis. I am convinced that my excellent health is partly as a result of using this product.
Doctors and other individuals have released information to the internet community based on my findings. A concern is that these reports express opinions about serrapeptase side effects, but are not based on any real life experiences. With hundreds of thousands of clients that I have helped giving me feedback, as well as my own experiences with the product, my opinions are solely based on the feedback from these clients. There were two claims by a couple of doctors in Japan that serrapeptase had caused a lung infection. This has not been duplicated from hundreds of thousands of users in the past twenty years and all I can surmise is that they were mistaken. It is not the first time in my experience that doctors were mistaken.
Serrapeptase seems to be safe to use for adults and children when consumed orally. Taking it several times a week, and then stopping will allow an individual to accurately assess its effects or effectiveness. 99.9% of my clients, as well as my children and other family members, have all reported no side effects. Long term effects have not had any formal documentation.
Warning: If you are in search of information about serrapeptase then ensure that the health care professional is well educated in the field of enzymes and how they play an important part in overall health.
Quite a few of my clients, as well as my daughters, were taking serrapeptase during their pregnancies, as well as during breastfeeding. Serrapeptase has been highly effective in women who have endured scar tissue inside their fallopian tubes. They were all able to have healthy pregnancies and babies, while taking serrapeptase with other supplements and using a carb-free diet.
Excessive bleeding: There are warnings that point out that serrapeptase can stop blood from clotting and exacerbate bleeding problems. The majority of these warnings are stated by people who are not aware of how this substance produces its results. My findings indicate that it does not cause unusual bleeding and the only cases reported were those who already had problems, e.g. with nose bleeds.
Usage during surgery: My personal recommendation is to stop the intake at least 24 hours before a surgery and continue when 24 to 48 hours have passed. This can help clear up any scar tissue, and stop lesions and adhesions from occurring.
Digestive system: Taking any proteases with a poor digestive system may cause discomfort or pain in certain individuals. Ingesting with a half teaspoon of bicarbonate in your 500ml glass of water may help to alleviate this. If you do experience continued pain from digestive problems then email me personally, and I will send you a plan for your digestive recovery before you continue with the use of serrapeptase.
Interactions with other drugs: Serrapeptase is safe to use with all drugs as well as warfarin, statins and aspirin.
I have a reactive arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis!
Will serrapeptase help me?
Thank you,
Paul M

I have a 90 year-old family friend who has scarring on the lungs (Pulmonary Fibrosis). I would like to suggest Serrapeptase to her, but I believe she’s already taking a blood-thinner, due to stroke she had (10) years ago. Do you think it would be safe for her to take Serrapeptase, even if she continues taking her prescribed blood-thinner? Some web-sites make it seem as though Serrapeptase is also a blood-thinner….and this woman is more inclined to do whatever her conventional doctor says. I, myself, strongly believe in Natural Medicine(!), but this 90 year-old woman is skeptical of it (which makes me sad).
Hi Diane,
Serrapeptase enzyme isn’t a blood thinner. It works to reduce inflammation, and to dissolved dead tissue, not fibrin. By improving the quality of your blood, it helps to keep it healthy and to help prevent clots. So there is no concern in that respect.

My husband is trying serrapeptase for cerrosis of the liver. (hopefully) to get rid of dead liver tissue. He has diarrhea a lot
and wonders if serrapeptase is cause it. Also has to have his belly drained every 6 months. Any suggestions?
Hi Delores,
Your husband may need to look at some additional support for his digestive system to help resolve the diarrhoea. I would suggest Gastro Enzyme Therapy, 1-3 capsules after eating x3 times per day and Prescript Assist, take 1 capsule x2 times per day, and review after a month in light of symptoms.

Hello, I started taking Serrapeptase a 3 months ago, 2-40mg caps first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. This was to help clear my lungs after years of smoking. After 6-7 week, I developed leg(lower front quad muscle) pain. I have read a few feedback responses that this is a common side affect. I stopped taking and leg pain went away. My main concern is that I have total hip replacement(both hips) 4yr this month. I’m having some issues with one of my implants. Is it possible that the enzyme has removed/deteriorated some of the poly lining of the hip replacement socket and/or the cement in the implant stem ? My symptoms are of a stem failure of the implant . I’m going in for x ray exam on 7/1/2015
Hi Bill,
Serrapeptase doesn’t work on any non-organic material in the body, so its unlikely to have had any influence over the hip replacement. We can only advise and ensure the quality of our own products, as we don’t do a product in 40mg, but it is also unusual to have a reaction in the lower leg. Please check with the manufacturer if you have any concerns over this.

I am a healthy athlete in my mid 30’s and am looking to better my overall health. I have no medical conditions and am not taking any drugs except vit C and living clay once a month. I would like to improve the muscle function and recovery from ongoing exercises. In what way would Serrapeptase help improve an already healthy individual?
Hi Martin,
We can take Serrapeptase to support our overall health, and one of the main benefits here is its anti-inflammatory properties, as inflammation is the main cause of disease. It is easy for our bodies to create an inflammatory response, especially through injury but also from dietary choices, stress, illness and so on.
To help with recovery from exercise I would also suggest some free form form amino acids, such as Healthyflow, l-Carnitine with Q10, Oxysorb, as well as using Ancient Minerals Magnesium Oil Ultra rubbed on to the skin daily.

I have severe diarrhea after taking serrapeptase. I’m a 67 year old male, & was told it was because of my age that I have this side effect.
I’ve had 5 bypasses at one (1997) time while visiting Houston, TX. The Doctor told me that my arteries were HEAVILY PLAQUED. I found out about Serrapeptase about 3 months ago and started taking it. Ever since I’ve had diarrhea. Is ther a solution? I want to keep on with the Serrapeptase, but don’t want the side effect. Thanks, Cliff
Hi Cliff,
There may be some underlying digestive system imbalances that you need to address first, which the serrapeptase has highlighted. I would suggest our full digestive health plan for around 1 month and then restarting on the serrapeptase. I have just bought my first tub of Serrapeptase. It says to take on an empty stomach. Is this essential? It is always easier to remember to take things with meals so how much time do I need to leave between taking the tablets and eating? For example, if I take one as soon as I get up, when could I have breakfast? Thanks. I have Max strength, 250,000IU.
Hi Suzanne,
Take the Serrapeptase 30 minutes before eating, with water. Taking the serrapeptase on an empty stomach allows the enzyme to get to the intestines at full strength where it becomes absorbed in to the bloodstream. If you take it with food it will begin to act on digestion, which will weaken the enzyme before it becomes absorbed. So it is highly recommended to take on an empty stomach.

Following the successful healing of leg ulcers; I am left with a frustrating problem.
I have skin loss between the toes and on the ankles of my left foot which causes liquid loss. Nurses and doctors seem unable to come up with a solution to this problem, which could be similar to the skin loss following a scald or a burn.
Has Serraeptase ever been seen to asist in skin regenration? Any suggestions would be very welcome. John.
Hi John,
Serrapeptase isn’t going to help the skin in this way. It will help with wound healing and keep inflammation and scarring down (especially if with MSM as in Serraplus). But for the skin itself, I would suggest Vitamin E and Joint & Skin Matrix, alongside Derma Q-Gel and Rio Rosa Oil, both topically.

I recently met a person suffering from piles(stage-3) and he is diagnosed as a patient of chronic indigestion.by taking his treatment history,we found that he had been taking serratiopeptidase tablets for the last 1and half year and he is a gym trainer and used them to get relief from pain.does SP really cause chronic gastritis and chronic indigestion?what might be the reason for Piles other than chronic indigestion in this patient?
Hi Rajesh,
There are no known side-effects to serrapeptase, and I would look at the diet and digestive chemistry for this person, as factors which can contribute to his symptoms. I would suggest Prescript Assist to begin with and possibly Gastro Enzyme Therapy or Essential Digestive Plus to support digestion. My father is 86 years old. He had double bypass surgery in 1994 and is on heart meds including blood thinners. He also smoked for 45 years and was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis several years ago.
He suffers from stiffness in the body and joints and is mostly in a weakened state with core strength and stability very weak and frail. He takes oxygen as needed.
I just got Serrapeptase in brand Seracel which says one capsule per day and he just now started. He asked about side effects and interactions with his other meds. He is now being tested by a neurolologist for Parkinson’s early stages as it may explain a lot of his symptoms including hearing loss, sense of smell loss, stiffness, shakiness, flailing about in his sleep, panic attacks causing him to feel he can’t breath.
Is this dose enough and can it help with the other illnesses besides pulmonary fibrosis, and should we be concerned about side effects or interactions with other meds.
Many thanks!

Hi, I’m 42 and have endometriosis so I was taking Serrapeptase. On June 15th I had internal bleeding. They found an angiomyolipoma on the right kidney that broke and caused the bleeding. At the end of June they embolized the renal artery that feeds the angiomyolipoma. Now I have to rest and wait until the hematoma is reabsorbed and make checks every 15 days. I can start again to take Serrapeptase? There are side effects for kidneys? My right kidney is the only I have! Can Serrapeptase help with the hematoma? Thanks a lot, Debora

I have been taking serrapeptase again for just over a week because I am concerned about arterial plaque as 5 years ago I did have a small amount of build up in my carotid artery. I have had really bad acid reflux for about 3yrs now and have taken chalky substances ie antacids, calcium supplements and I am concerned that they may have added to my plaque deposits.I have capitulated, after trying every thing over the 3 yrs and my esophogus became painful so I am taking cimetridine (an old fashioned PPI, used to be tagamet) and it works with the acid. However, I also had lots of pain and discomfort in my tummy for a long time which is now completely cured by my being gluten and dairy free.Even then I still had the acid, hence the medication.
I also have quite a lot of scar tissue in my right breast (and adhesion, a very nice pucker) following breast cancer lumpectomy 20 yrs ago.
Question 1 has been answered, the acid reflux feeling in my left chest I have been experiencing is obviously a side effect, although you would think that 800mg x2 of cimetridine would have prevented that. Yes bicarb was the only thing that shifted it but worried about bicarb as now have high blood pressure. Also, is it possible do you think to feel something in the carotid artery ie, maybe the serrapapeptase working? Because I think I can feel it….
Hi Carole,
To begin with we have a full health plan for carotid arteries, as it is important to combine the right form of supplements, with the right diet, but also the same attention on relaxation, positive outlook and even acupressure, as detailed below. You can see the full health plan here: http://www.goodhealthhelpdesk.com/index.php?/Knowledgebase/List/Index/128/carotid-arteriesarterial-vascular-disease
Secondly acid reflux would not be a side-effect of taking serrapeptase as it does not have this effect on the body. What you may have are underlying digestive system imbalances that need to be resolved. I suggest our full health plan for the digestive system first, to help resolve these issues, and then resuming on the serrapeptase/carotid artery plan.
You can see the full health plan for the digestive system here: http://www.goodhealthhelpdesk.com/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/1957/116/digestive-health-plan

Hello
I have been taken Serrapeptase for a month now. I noticed in my stool what looked like strands of something maybe mucus or linings. Is this as normal thing? Is it just clearing out stuff?
Thank you
Rob
Hi Robert,
As we can’t diagnose, we can’t provide a definitive answer to this. It could be some clearing, however any mucous in stools should be properly investigated, so I would advise this and then advise us of the results, as it could be totally unrelated to the taking the Serrapeptase, and certainly isn’t a known result or cause.

Does serrapeptase effect mitral valve repair by eating away annuloplasty ring or weaken the repair? Thanks. David
Hi David,
Serrapeptase doesn’t work on any non-organic material in the body, so its unlikely to have had any influence over the mitral valve repair. Serrapeptase is a proteolytic enzyme and digests non-living tissue, blood clots, cysts and arterial plaque and inflammation in all forms.

Hi, well I was wondering if u can, or should, break a tablet apart and mix it with water and drink. I ask because I recently had a tonsilectomy and turbinate reduction. I thought maybe instead of digesting them maybe it might work better orally for my situation. Thanks for your advice and time.
Hi Joe,
Yes you can break the capsules open and mix with a little water, to help with the tonsilectomy. You will also benefit from taking part of the dose in via the digestive system as this will circulate throughout the body, to help with the healing process.

My mom and I both started taking serapeptase about two weeks ago. We were taking it twice a day. I only took my doses for one week because I noticed a rash developing on my right side/back reaching under my right breast. A few days later my mom started to show signs of the same rash in exactly the same place. Both of us have stopped use (about one week now) and the rashes are getting worse. This follows the liver meridian. I went to my local suppliment specialist and he told me our dose was too high and after 2-3 days it would clear up and to take half the amount daily. My concern is that it should not be getting worse when I haven’t taken it for a week. What should we do?
Hi Emily,
You may be experiencing a detoxifying effect, so restart the serrapeptase at a lower dose and build up slowly. There may be other areas of the body that need support such as the liver and bowels to aid in the detoxifying process. Consider a Whole Body and Colon Cleanse from Good Health Naturally.

Hi I have recently started taking 1 x 80,000ui twice daily for a bartholins cyst as read on other forums peoples success is that the dosage you would recommend? I have also recommended your product to my mom but she is on many tablets for thyroid, high blood pressure etc are there any medicine interactions to be aware of? Thank you
Hi Dawn,
Yes serrapeptase is a good choice to help with the Barholins cyst. Depending on the pain and severity of the cyst you may need to look at increasing the dose of serrapepatase, to around 2 capsules 3 x per day. Some people even choose the high strength serraenzyme 250,000iu to tackle painful cysts. I would also suggest CurcuminX4000, 3 x per day, Nascent Iodine Drops 5-10 drops, 3 times per day, Daily Immune Protection 1 cap x 2 times per day to help with the healing process and to prevent reoccurance. Ensure that your diet follows our guidelines, as well as good breathing exercises, relaxation too. This will all help the recovery process.

I was diagnosed with dot clots twice but due to certain circumstances. I had complete blood work done and do not need to be on Coumadin, instead take 2 – 81 mg. tablets a Day. I stopped taking them and only taking the serrapeptase to naturally thin my blood. I take 5 capsules a day. After reading a few articles here, should I be taking the aspirin as prescribed? I don’t want blood clots again since I am only 54 yrs old. Thanks you very much. I was told that serrapeptase was a natural blood thinner.
Hi Ter,
Serrapeptase is not a blood thinner, but improves the quality and flow of the blood by digesting blood clots, arterial plaque and inflammation in the circulatory system.
I would also suggest Healthyflow to further help support the arteries and blood.

I have a friend who has just had a stent put in. I was telling him about how Serrapeptase could help him. But he was concerned that if he took it could some plaque break away and cause a blockage. As he had 80 or 85% occlusion before the stent now he is 70%. Thanks.
Hi Gail,
Serrapeptase can help to dissolve arterial plaque, which is then removed by the body as waste in the normal way. It does not encourage the plaque to break off and cause a blockage.
Please see our full health plan here for arterial vascular disease, to help with the blocked arteries: http://www.goodhealthhelpdesk.com/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/1976/128/carotid-arteriesarterial-vascular-disease-health-plan

I read an article abt this enzyme doing good for COPD so I started taking it since Sept. 1 at 30mg/day (3 divided dose)…
Question: 1. Do SERRAPEPTASE have adverse effect to my kidneys? 2. What is the equivalent of I. U. to mgs? Am I taking enough dosage?

Hi,
I’ve come across serrapeptase very recently and haven’t taken it yet. I’m trying to find out about potential side effects first, so your article is very helpful. I am thinking about taking serrapeptase to reduce scarring on my eardrums due to frequent ear infections with ear drum perforation. Is it possible that as serrapeptase dissolves the scarring, the old perforations might open up again? I would be grateful if you could let me know. Thank you.
Hi Berora,
There are no side-effects to taking serrapeptase. Serrapeptase would not cause the ear drum to perforate again. It will only dissolve the excess dead scar tissue, and not the tissue that has healed the injury.
Use MSM&Silver 4 drops in each ear, 2 x per day to help clear infection, alongside Serraplus 2 capsules 3 x per day.

Hello, my name is Julie. My mom has Hepatitis B and she is currently on a treatment with entecavir. She also has nasal polyps and sinusitis. My question is whether she can take Serrapeptase (in order to alleviate her problems with the nasal polyps and sinusitis) alongside her treatment with entecavir? Do you think it would be safe for her to take Serrapeptase, if she is, at the same time, taking her prescribed treatment with entecavir for Hepatitis B?
I look forward to hearing from you,
All the best,
Julie
Hi Julie,
Yes she can take the serrapeptase alongside her medication.
Please also advise her to contact the Good Health Coaching Centres for a full plan to help resolve her issues fully.

I have been taking serrapeptase for sometime now and it is wonderful. I am wondering if it is ok to take BCAAs while taking serrapeptase. The BCAA contains L-citrulline and L-glutimine are those safe with serrapeptase?
Hi Deena,
Yes you can take serrapeptase alongside your other supplements.

Can Serrapeptase be taken by opening the capsules and dissolving in the mouth? I have a child with undiagnosed night-time knee pain (now also starting in one ankle) and cannot swallow the capsules in spite of their being quite small.
(Since everyone asks, we already have a diet free of sugar, processed foods, seed oils, grains (except wild rice), dairy, nightshades and eggs. And we are extremely modest with fruits having a high glycemic index.)
Hi Diana,
For the child, you can open the capsule and mix the serrapeptase with a little water and they can swallow it down that way. If the symptoms persist then please get them checked out.

Hi. I recently noticed two large floaters in my left eye after some sun exposure. Is it possible for serrapeptase to help decrease floaters? ALso, I am a bit concerned as I have had trouble with on-going stomach ulcers over the past few years. Should I be worried about serrapeptase flaring up my stomach?
Hi Carla,
It is generally safe to take if one has a stomach ulcer and is unlikely to trigger any flare ups. However the enteric-Coated tablets may be better as they by-pass the stomach and don’t begin digesting until reaching the small intestine.
I would suggest:
Prescript-Assist 2 per day (more if needed)
Gastro-Enzyme Therapy – as directed
Digestive Enzymes Plus – as directed
GlycoBoost (optional extra)
Serranol could also be used to help with inflammation and healing.
For the floaters, please see our full health plan here: http://www.goodhealthhelpdesk.com/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/1924/72/floaters-health-plan

Hello,
This is my first visit to your site and I am so glad I have found it. There is practically no information related to my problem. I have a blocked lacrimal duct, and found a single testimony saying the person took serrapeptase three times a day. The capsules I had were 80000 IU and I thought it might be too much. I took two a day, then three and also Nattokinase-serrapeptase. I think it had some effect on my joints and mamar cysts (I think), yet no effect on the lacrimal duct. Should I have taken a higher dosage? Maybe the brand was not good enough? There was mention of lemonade made from a whole lemon. which I did not drink. Please, advise me as to the optimal intake. Thank you,
Michaela
Hi Michaela, take the 80,000IU SerraEnzyme 3 x 3 per day (or even same dose for the 250,000IU activity level), along with using our Can-C eye drops and MSM+Silver drops. Do this first, if you need further help, then please contact our advice service at Good Health Coaching Centres, so we can discuss your issue in more detail and advise further. Does this work for abdominal adhesiond? If so, how much and when should you feel results???
Hi Cindy, yes the Serraenzyme could be used to help with this. Serrapeptase works on internal scars (lesions and adhesions) by continually digesting the scar tissue and allowing the healthy tissue to eventually replace this. Use Serraplus+ 2 tablets 3 x per day, taken 30 minutes before eating. You can also register at http://www.MyGoodHealthClub.com so one of our Health Coaches can advise in more detail.
I had laparoscopic fundoplasty for a hiatal hernia several years ago and my stomach is wrapped around the esophageal tube and sewn to itself. The scarring that resulted aids in keeping the stomach secure. Will Serrapeptase dissolve these scars and cause my hernia to relapse? I’m concerned.
Hi Musashi, serrapeptase only dissolves dead scar tissue, not live tissue, so it unlikely to affect the actual part that has healed, and reopen the area.
My son has younger tie. His dentist said we could try breaking a capsule open and rubbing it on his tounge. It may help in breaking down and loosening the cartilage. Could you see Serrapeptase being beneficial for this?
Hi Jill, no serrapeptase will not affect any living tissue in the body, such as cartilage, so is not going to be beneficial in this case.
I was wondering what does for my husband he has diabetes 2,copd, high bloodpressure, on meds and steroid inhailers He has sleep apnea the doctor in hospital said he has heart failure which just means its not pumping enough oxygenHow much of a does will be sufficient will it help his problems?
Hi Linda, please contact us at the Good Health Coaching Centres for a full review of your husbands situation so we can help him more fully. I was extremely myopic and had lasik surgery in 2005. This surgery was the biggest mistake of my life. It left me with huge floaters in both eyes which I have never been able to erase. In 2015 my retina detached and left me with, you guessed it, more floaters. My retina is now held in place by scar tissue. I want to get rid of my floaters, but not at the expense of my eyesight. Compromised vision is better than none. Can I trust the Serrapeptase to improve my overall health, perhaps alleviate some of the floaters, without dissolving the critical scar tissue in my eye that is holding my retina in place? Any suggestions you have would be greatly appreciated. Thank you..
Hi Bev, I would recommend the full plan for floaters, alongside the serrapeptase, as this is not always enough on its own. Please see the full plan here: https://www.goodhealthhelpdesk.com/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/1924/72/floaters-health-plan

Hi there,
My husband suffers ED, but is on high blood pressure medication.
I have read a lot of literature that says Serrapeptase is a strong enzyme that can dissolve arterial plaque, which I suspect is his problem.
Do you have a plan for this and what would be your advice – we are trying to be proactive and not reply on medication for ED
Hi Raewyn, yes serrapepatase may help to dissolve arterial plaque and is an important part of our full health plan for ED. We recommend the formula Serranol in the plan to help clear inflammation and support the health of the arteries. Hi there,
I am wanting to try Serrapeptase and see if it will improve my Bowel Obstruction ‘attacks’. I have been told by the specilists that this is due partly to scar tissue from operations.
I am very afraid of these attacks as they are painful and very debilitating, My understating is that serrapeptase can dissolve dead tissue (is this correct) and would you call previous scar tissue dead” – not sure how to define that.
Attacks always require me having 2-4 days off work when they occur, and leave me drained of energy.
Hi Raewyn, yes serrapeptase helps to dissolve non-living tissue in the body, such as scar tissue. I would recommend the Maximum Strength Serraenzyme at full dose for the first couple of weeks, to kick start the process, then move on to Serraplus 2 x 3 per day, plus Vitamin E and Curcuminx4000 if possible. Hi Lindsay
Thankyou for your ongoing help – can I just clarify please.
Do I drop the Serraenzyme once I start on Serraplus ? And take Serraplus 2 tablets – 3 times a day. ?
I can’t source vitamin E – is it necessary to take this alongside the other capsules. ?
Hi Raewyn, yes stop the Serraenzyme when you move on to the Serraplus and take 2 tablets, 3 x per day. It is not essential to take the Vitamin E alongside the other supplements, but is an added recommendation. You can purchase Naturally Better Vitamin E from Good Health Oz https://goodhealthoz.com/products/Vitamin-E/
I hope that helps

Hi, I am having a knee replacement in a week. Do you recommend that I take Serrapeptase before my surgery or after my surgery. If so, in what quantities? Does Serrapeptase have Vitamin E in it?
Hi Rosalind, to help with the post operative healing, take SerraEnzyme 250,000iu 1 x 4 times per day, 30 minute before a meal and then gradually reduce to 1 x 2 per day as you get relief. Plus use the Healthpoint, electro-acupressure device, to help with the post operative swelling. You can find out more about its ease of use here http://www.dovehealth.com
There is no vitamin E in the SerraEnzyme, it is pure serrapeptase.

Hi Lindsay,
I have been on the plan you have outlined above now since mid June 2016 – I have had one bowel obstruction attack but not as severe as I would normally have had and it didn’t last as long. So I am hoping that the program you have me on is working, and the scar tissues is being ‘eaten up ‘ by Serrapeptase Serra Plus.
My ultimate hope is that I will no longer get those horrid debilitating attacks.
I am still on Serraplus-Vitamin E & Circummin, is it harmful to stay on this program until I have used up all my capsules Lindsay ? And is there anything else I can do.
Hi Raewyn, I’m pleased to see there is some good indication of improvement here and you are absolutely fine to stay on the advised supplements until needed. There is no set timescales for the advised products, they are safe for long term use.

I feel fortunate to have discovered your online health club. There is some special quality
about your site that attracts me because of the confidence with which you write, and
the sincere desire to help people become healthy in a hydra head big business toxic food
environment, The sugar barons are literally raising diabetics as if the whole United States
was a farm land to literally raise unsuspecting diabetics. The children and their parents
are hypnotized into thinking that any amount of sugar is okay. The DVD entitled,
“FED UP” is a good place to view the truth about the sugar which is now being
identified as having the same effects as cocaine in the human body.
Hi Lindsay,
I was wondering if the anti-inflammatory properties of serrapeptase could help with depression, seeing as new theories now place inflammation as a possible cause? Is this something you’ve heard of, come across before?
Hi Shelley, as you are aware there is now a large body of research showing the connection between depression and inflammation, and serrapeptase can play a part in tackling this chronic inflammatory response in the body. So yes it can be used as part of an overall protocol, tackling inflammation through supplementation, as well as dietary and lifestyle choices. I have PCOS. I currently have multiple complex ovarian cysts. I stayed taking serrapeptase about a week ago. My ovaries hurt so bad did the past couple days. Does this happen when the enzyme is working or should I contact my Dr?
Hi Renee,
It needs more than just SerraEnzyme, also note diet, exercise, and acupressure. It’s your decision if you want to contact your doctor or not, but the Serrapeptase won’t be causing side effects. We’d recommend following the PCOS plan below and contacting our Good Health Coaches for personalised health advice.

I have a bartholins abscess and I have read online that serrapeptase helps with it but the thing is I’m breastfeeding and I’m wondering if it’s safe to take it. Thanks.
Hi Betty, yes Serrapeptase is perfectly safe to take whilst breastfeeding.
Hi, I have pericarditis, diagnosed in February 2016. I have tried various medications with no success. I am currently trying tumeric however this aggravates my acid reflux. I am thinking of trying serrapeptase, would this work for pericarditis and can it make my acid reflux worse?
Hi Chris, we would recommend serrapeptase as part of a full approach to help tackle the condition. As an autoimmune, auto-inflammatory condition we would recommend the following products:
1st Line Immune Kits, 1 kit every day for 3 days.
Serranol 2 caps x 3 times per day
Daily Immune Protection 1 cap x 2 times per day
Prescript Assist 1 cap x 2 times per day for 30 days and then reduce to 1 every 3 days.
It is highly important to incorporate the dietary changes, maintain good hydration levels, and engage in regular exercise and relaxation techniques to keep blood pressure maintenance. To help you further please contact us at the Good Health Coaching Centres and request a callback from one of our health coaches, to make the plan much more individual to you.

Hi Lindsay,
Thank your for your response. My pericarditis is vital and not auto immune. Does this change your recommendations above?
Also I am currently taking meloxicam fm for pericarditis… Is it safe to take serrapeptase with this?
Thank you
Hi Chris, if viral, I would still recommend the above products to help clear the virus and support the immune system. There is still inflammation there, and following the anti-inflammatory protocol in terms of diet and supplements, as with the curcumin and serrapeptase, is beneficial with this condition. You can take the serrapeptase with the medication, but leave a gap of 4+ hours to avoid any interaction upon digestion, regardless of any contraindications.
Hi – I can’t swallow tablets. I open up the capsules ( 3 x 80,0000iu) and mix with half glass of water at least an hour before breakfast. I do the same last thing at night but this has given me diarrhea. Can I open the capsule and take the powder inside sub-lingual? Is that safe?
Hi Sean, you can try opening the capsules and adding to a little non-protein food, such as apple puree, to help coat the digestive tract. Alternatively, I would suggest our digestive health plan here, for around a month before restarting on the serraenzyme: https://www.goodhealthhelpdesk.com/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/1957/116/digestive-health-plan

https://www.goodhealthhelpdesk.com/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/1815/36/pulmonary-fibrosis-health-plan
can it really remove the scar on my lungs?
Hi Rowel, one of the benefits of serrapeptase is that it can help with scarring both internally and externally, and that includes in the lungs, and is what we would recommend.
Will this work for somebody that has sarcoidosis? Also do u have any further recommendations regarding alternative treatment. Thank in advance
Hi Lor, yes the product is recommended for sarcoidosis, as part of our full health plan, which you can see here: https://www.goodhealthhelpdesk.com/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/1865/67/sarcoidosis-auto-immune-inflammatory-problem-health-plan

I have just been diagnosed with Arrhythmia,I have never had any problems with my heart before (I am 65 yo female) I took Serrapeptase intermittently before my diagnosis.I am on Warfarin 4mg daily and Bisoplorol 2.5 mg daily . I would really like to wean myself off these meds and try a natural approach. Can you advise and is it ok for me to resume Serrapeptase at 250,000 iu ?

Hi I have been taking serrapeptase for my throbbing arthritic joints and have been amazed with the results so much so that I decided to try it on my aged arthritic equines both suffer from equine Cushings it has improved ther mobility no end but having just had ther blood results back my vet was shocked that ther acht levels are five times higher than was the case six weeks ago I’m devastated they are both on Cushings medication one on pergolide the other prasend has the serrapeptase compromised they,re medication I have now stopped the serrapeptase and will have more bloods done in six weeks but the only difference in they,re diet and management has been the serrapeptase the pony has had two a day , the larger horse four two morning and two evening he also has a sachet of bute , the serrapeptase was 80,000 have you any explanation what could of happened
Hi J Hunter, there are no interactions with the medications and serrapeptase, so it is unlikely to have caused this spike in ACHT levels. The area to look at here is hormonal balance and serrapeptase would not have had any influence here directly. It is working more on the horse’s inflammatory markers and healing, and I’m pleased to see that your horses have benefited from an improvement to their mobility. Please always seek the advice of a vet in these situations, as we can only advice on the product itself.
I hope that helps

Hello,
I have extensive heart scarring from a heart attack last year and was wondering if serrapeptase would possibly dissolve these scars.
Hi Marcia, we would recommend serrapeptase to help with the heart repair and recovery, as part of our full health plan here for heart disease:

will serrapeptase help with my feet problems? Ive been im so much pain for so long. So what my doctor has found so far is i have very badPlantar Fasciitis in both feet and bad Tarsal tunnel in both aswell. I do have a weak stomach so i try to avoid taking pills.
Hi Travis, we would recommend following this health plan to help with plantar fasciitis: https://www.goodhealthhelpdesk.com/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/1941/216/mortons-neuroma-health-plan
The serrapeptase can help with the pain and inflammation of the condition. The B4 Health spray is in liquid form and is administered sublingually, and the magnesium oil rubs directly into the skin, so these both may be suitable despite having a sensitive stomach. I hope that helps.

Hi, I am unable to swallow capsules or tablets. Is it possible to dissolve them in water? Or crush and take with honey?
Hi Beth, you can open the capsules and add the serrapeptase to a little water and drink down quickly before it settles to the bottom of the glass. Alternatively, you can add to a little non-protein food such as applesauce and take it that way.
I hope that helps

HI,
I had a kidney stone removed in February, and have a lot of scar tissue and adhesions which are making my muscles tight and painful in and around that area. I am currently taking 160,000 spu of Serrapeptase to help. Do I need to continue to increase the dosage?
I am experiencing a longer monthly period since I started taking Serrapeptase too. Is that ok?
Thank you
Hi Becky, there is an advantage to upping the dosage as it will work faster on the scar tissue, say 2-3 per day. The period sounds fine, as it may also be clearing some congestion. That will probably settle down over time.
Hi! My daughter has micro cystic lymphatic malformation, so her lymphatic channels were improperly formed in the womb, this leaves her a little lump on her wrist area. Would serrapeptase help remove the trapped lymph/cyst in the channels? She also got diagnosed with juvenile idiopathic arthritis, although her knee is no longer swollen they mentioned a cyst formed from the inflammation so I’m hoping this would help. I’m not sure how much to start her with, she’s 7 years old about 60lbs
Hi Danielle, we would say it could potentially help but we can’t say for certain. It can help with the inflammation, so is a good option for her in this respect. Try SerraEnzyme 80,000IU 1 capsule, 30 minutes before breakfast and 1 capsule, 30 minutes before dinner, and see how she gets on. Here is the link for SerraEnzyme 80,000IU: https://bit.ly/3QAUz82

Will this supplement dissolve a sacral cyst (tarlov)?
Hello Renee, Serrapeptase has a long history of use for targeting cysts, so it is worth trying in this instance. Kind Regards, The Serrapeptase.info Team
I recently started taking Serrapeptase for scar tissue left from abdominal surgery. After about 2 weeks, I developed a terrible rash and itchy skin all over. My skin was very swollen too. I went to the closest Urgent care because of the reaction. I don’t know whether it was caused by the Serrapeptase, but I stopped taking it immediately. Can you tell me if it could be the reason? I also have some gut issues.
It isn’t something typical of serrapeptase, however, we wouldn’t be able to determine the cause of your issue, I’m sorry.
